Planning out a 10 week trip is always going to be a bit painful, but when your travelling companion insists on booking every night of accommodation - you know it's going to be hell.
It wasn't completely horrible. We spent 2 solid days and about $300 on booking fees. We have a nerdburger spreadsheet. But the Emu promises me that it is all worth it and that soon we will laughing at people unable to get accommodation in the mosh pit that is Europe in summer.
So! As it stands, our plan is as follows:
Leave Sydney on June 24.
Japan
Finland
Estonia
Latvia
Lithuania
Poland
Ukraine
Hungary
Austria
Germany
UK
Then arrive back in Sydney on August 29.
A spreadsheet - how Mel-esque of you! and minorly tragic, but will not doubt be worth it.
